Our classroom is spacious for toddlers to explore items that interest them such as blocks, art, dramatic play, science, sensory, literature, and music. The curriculum changes based on the individual needs of the current group. We use observation and interactions to design a program that meets both developmental needs and personal interests.
Toddlers learn as they play. They learn about independence through daily routines and they choose activities matching their interests and abilities. Rich, responsive conversations between teachers and children support each and every child's developing language and sense of self.
Toddlers thrive when they can depend on their routine. Our schedule provides a balance of gross motor activities and fine motor choices. The children eat family style and are offered well-balanced meals. Social skills are developed naturally through routines and teacher interactions.
